For some people, wine glasses are a symbol of celebration, luxury, or relaxation.
We say they fit well with all three of these vibes. We’d also add a fourth — creativity. That’s especially true when you give your wine glasses a unique spin with this DIY guide.
A Bride on a Budget brings us this interesting project. It’s a timeless craft that takes only a small amount of materials and time to make. But when finished, it can adorn tables at home or at other locations where you’re celebrating or decorating.
Let’s get started! Most of the items you’ll need are available at Dollar Tree or other small craft stores, meaning the entire lot will be relatively affordable. You’ll need the wine glasses themselves, along with glitter, Mod Podge, paint brushes, decorative shred, bottled drinks to put in the glasses, and tape.
Our host provides three designs you can use, showing how versatile this creation can be. You can decorate the base of the glass, go about halfway, or cover the entire surface in glitter. Once you do so, you can fill it with the decorative shred for added color and creativity.
Finally, load in your drink, bottle and all. Rather than drinking out of these glasses in the traditional sense, they’ll be used to hold smaller containers of liquid. They’re still helpful for serving up refreshments, but they do so in a creative way.
